CAN I INSERT THE MENSTRUAL DISC EVEN IF I HAVE AN IUD?
Yes you can.
You can use a menstrual disc even if you have an IUD. However, sometimes the IUD can be accidentally removed while using the menstrual disc. This occurs when, for example, the strings of the coil are accidentally pulled. Very sometimes the vacuum of the menstrual disc causes the IUD to be spontaneously expelled. To be sure, contact your general practitioner.

If the disc is “stuck” due to dryness, applying water-based lubricant to the vaginal opening may help.

I FEEL PRESSURE WHEN WEARING THE MENSTRUAL DISC
I FEEL PRESSURE WHEN WEARING THE MENSTRUAL DISC
You may experience an oppressive feeling while wearing the menstrual disc. Often this is only at the beginning of use and your vagina eventually gets used to the menstrual disc and this sensation disappears.
In addition, estrogen levels typically drop to their lowest levels around the menstrual period. These lower estrogen levels can often lead to dehydration of both the vulva and vagina, which in turn can result in increasing pressure, cramping and discomfort when using internal menstrual products. As you gradually familiarize yourself with their use, it is highly recommended that you use a water-based lubricant at first to reduce any feelings of fullness, pressure or cramping.
